New York’s Ultimate event will be intimate, as TV interest grows.

By Paul Pannone

This weekend, the Ultimate Engagement Show in New York City’s Gotham Hall is set to pair highly qualified brides with exclusive vendors. The highly visible event is gathering attention from media sources that say they’re interested in the format of the show and have reportedly expressed the possibility for a TV show in the future.

Discussions with show producer, Maya Kalman , told eWN, “We’ve gotten a lot of positive press and publicity and have been approached to do a TV show about staging an event of this caliber.” Details are still being discussed but Kalman did say, “Right now, we want to make sure our vendors are happy; that’s the task at hand.”

The response from the bride’s has reportedly been very positive but only a third of the interested women and their entourage will actually manage to make their way through the doors of the elegant venue. The upscale event is fueled by a very affluent New York area demographic that is unique in so many ways. So much so that Kalman has requested her exhibiting vendors to respect the privacy of the “guests”, departing from normal wedding show standards.

Vendors will reportedly be able to take time with brides and book follow up appointments in a quiet, elegant and meaningful way. "We wanted to create an environment that is non-threatening and certainly not rushed," said Kalman. The show starts at 9 am and runs until 7 pm.
