Today's announcement naming Brian Lawrence to the Wedding Industry Survey Network’s advisory board arrives after months of interacting with the astute wedding industry member. He, along with other well-respected veterans, are considered for their contributions and outlook involving the changing wedding industry business.
eWedNews learned possible candidates must hold a mastery of their product category but also be able to fluidly interact with all other facets of the complex wedding industry, considering all markets, not just their own. “We’re looking for very special people that are able to handle complicated tasks effortlessly and come up with viable solutions,” said Shane McMurray, head of WISN.
Mc Murray told eWedNews there are other pending announcements naming experts in their respective categories. To be named, members must agree to and adhere to strict criteria involving access to data and the associated respect for that data. “Just like the way we collect data in a very pristine and organized way, we look for partnerships that will recognize our methodology and appreciate the significant value it will ultimately offer the wedding industry,” he said.
