Interest in the Wedding Industry Survey Network Grows, as Systems are Upgraded.

By Paul Pannone

The Wedding Industry Survey Network (WISN) continues to improve their services and grow their reach within the wedding business, attracting the attention of a growing number of businesses that are benefitting from the information they provide.

eWedNews has learned that several major wedding organizations have contacted the group’s founder, Shane McMurray. “We are being approached by major wedding organizations that want to know how they can participate in studies. We are continuing our discussions with them to see how we can work together and increase our scope and reach further by leveraging each other’s resources,” said McMurray this week.

McMurray wouldn’t specifically identify any of the organizations saying there are some that could conflict because they are competitors but did say, “We want to make the right choices and decisions and always preserve the spirit of wanting to offer our subscribers the best value and information.”

McMurray did share a survey that is in work regarding the venue and catering category. “This study will inherently provide greater insight to other categories associated with the vendor segment that are directly attached to the venue,” citing the biggest part of the wedding planning process. The study findings are set to be released in the next few weeks. Top line information will be previewed here on eWedNews.
