Ex-StomperNet employees try to shed the stigma and try their hand at the wedding business.

By Paul Pannone

ewedNews continues to monitor the progress of ex-StomperNet employees and associates that say they’re trying to shed the stigma and bad press surrounding the company, as they try to break into the wedding business. In discussions this week, wedding professionals say they’re taking a wait-and-see approach before making a judgment on whether there is true value with the launch.

Peter Grimes of Vows Bridal Business Magazine said, “I am waiting to look at the book before I make any sort of judgment, it’s really all we can do.” Grimes, along with others, say they’re holding off until they see the printed portion of the program. Some said they’ve already looked at the web site  and want to experience the entire program, citing the importance of seeing and reviewing all the information before making a decision.

In the drama portion of the story, Jason Hennessey, ex-StomperNet EXECUTIVE, has decided to communicate with eWedNews and provide information to dispel his ex-employer’s statement that hew was an “Intern” during his stay at SN. Hennessey even commented on an eWedNews Story in an effort to help a fellow reader.

In the comment, Hennessey gave the following tip to Christine Boulton of Think Like A Bride: “Free SEO Tip -- Your site has a canonicalization issue. Google sees that as duplicate content -- and you could very well get penalized.  In laymen terms - what that means: Your url http://thinklikeabride.com/ and http://www.thinklikeabride.com/ are looked at by Google as two separate pages with DUPLICATE content - Your would need to build a 301 redirect and link http://thinklikeabride.com/ (which has 118 back links) to http://www.thinklikeabride.com/ (which has 334 backlinks) and then your one page would have a total of 452 backlinks.

Your NOT using any Header Tags with Keywords and your alt text reads alt="Read my blog WEDDING DISH" -- which doesn't really help you at all with your online search strategy. I would also try to include Titles for all of your images

Best of Luck

Jason Hennessey offered to provide his business card identifying himself as Cheif Of Staff at StomperNet, nullifying Brad Fallon's assertion that he was merely an intern. Fallon has since changed his story.

A request to provide proof that Hennessey was an “Intern” at Stompernet found  Brad Fallon SEO Expert at StomperNet backpedaling saying,” I didn’t say Jason was an intern. I said he was working with us for free, helping with projects, helping me on some stuff, like an intern, and was on the payroll for about a month,” he recanted.

This reporter stands by our story that quoted Fallon calling Jason Hennessey an “intern”.
