An e-Book on Bridal Show Success by an ex-vendor for vendors gets set to launch.

By Paul Pannone

An eBook written by an ex-vendor regarding success at bridal show events is getting set to launch and is expected to turn some heads. The content rises above the self-serving information that usually accompanies some show producer’s sales pitches touting the benefits of participation. Instead, the content gives a no nonsense account of what it really takes to maximize the Return on Investment dollars that are expended from the view point of an exhibitor

Christine Boulton of Think Like A Bride has been on both sides of the fence, dealing with brides as a successful cake supplier. “Knowing what the bride wants and how she feels are essential these days. It’s really always been that way but today it’s crucial. If you don’t make that connection with her, you’re not selling her,” according to Boulton.

In an exclusive interview Boulton give us reasons why she wrote the e-book.  “It was one of the most discussed topics I was seeing on forums and social media. Our industry is in a phase of rapid change. It is so important that wedding professionals stay on top of the information—what works. And to steer clear of what doesn’t work. Either way, you have to stay informed,” according to Boulton.

Boulton was asked about the current state of information in the wedding business and told eWedNews,” It always helps to get an outside opinion, we all get stuck sometimes; It happens to all of us. We are to close to the situation and can’t really see things as clearly as we should sometimes.” But Boulton warns of unscrupulous sources of information in the marketplace. “You didn’t really need to be told that, did you Mr. Reporter man? If we’re talking about strictly within the trade, there are people that are busy running their businesses and don’t have time to identify and address all the current trends. That is where I come in; I look at it with a much different view than the client does,” she feels.

Boulton gives her account of experience and participating in countless bridal shows during her career. “Simple, basic questions that get overlooked are never asked and in the book, I make sure the questions are clearly stated and asked,” says Boulton.

Christine Bolton’s e-book on how to align with successful wedding shows is set for release on May 20, 2010 at a price of $14.95. Boulton told eWedNews she is actively involved in other similar projects to bring her retail experience to the market.
